Hard to believe it's been three weeks since the spinal tap. We are supposed to get the results from the remaining two tests on Wednesday, Nov 3rd. Apparently the spinal tap fluids for the two open tests went from Overlook hospital to the Mayo Clinic, who outsourced the fluids somewhere else.
They will call me Wednesday.
I’ve been coaching my son’s soccer team for 3 years now. I’ve loved coaching the kids, and I really enjoy being around the game. And for two hours or so, three times a week, and it’s been a nice diversion from all the hospital visits, tests, etc…This season has me rethinking my desire to coach. Complaints about playing time, wins, discipline, formations, etc….
This is supposed to be fun…… Marcia’s health situation has put soccer in proper perspective. And I’ve spent a lot less time caring about our record. What I do know, is that my son has fun, likes his teammates and has no idea his mom has serious medical issues. Might not be the right person for the job anymore?
